Welcome to Blu Hippo. I offers web development solutions for small to medium sized companies in Kent, East Sussex and London.

My name is Rob Watson and I have been developing websites since 1999 when it started out as a hobby before developing into my career in 2003 when I started Blu Hippo.

Since 2007 I have been employed as a web developer for one of the leading digital agencies in the UK. During the day I work on sites for some of the largest brands in the world including Vodafone, Sony, Barclays, Becks and BMW.

In my spare time I still develop sites under the name of Blu Hippo for companies that want an online presence without having to pay through the nose to acheive this. I can offer you a complate solution from design through to the hosting of your website.

As I do not advertise my services anymore 100% of my work comes through word of mouth or new work from my current clients wishing to update their site.

I lease my own dedicated server from one of the leading hosting companies in the UK. It is managed 24/7 by trained staff who monitor it for me.

Having my own dedicated server ensures that my clients have the fastest possible sites they can be as I know that there isn't 250 other websites fighting for the servers bandwidth which is what happens on standard sharred server solutions which the majority of freelance developers will place your website on.

A domain name is a very important part of your web presence. It allows your customers and potential customers to get in contact with you via your website or email adress. I am able to register and manage for you your domain name.
